Group CEO of Cross Border Talents
Ricardo has his academic background in Mechanical Engineering (Instituto Suterior Técnico, Lisbon) and holds a master degree in industrial production.
He started his career at ABB Alstom Power where worked as site manager in Portugal and Thailand integrated in designing and implementation teams at hydro-electrical power plants projects. In 2001 joined the international recruitment sector having worked as country manager at the most profitable business line of Randstad Group. From 2007 to 2011 worked at Randstad Holding (Amsterdam) as international specialty director providing strategic advice to operating companies in 44 countries. From 2012 to 2014 was as board member at Manpower Group Deutschland GmbH where worked as strategic clients director and additionally had the task to reshape the group in-house concept in 80 countries.
In 2014 Ricardo founded Cross Border Talents, which owns along wit a minority shareholder who acts as his mentor and business angel. Ricardps ambition is to contribute to solve the global skills shortage challenge through consistently facilitating employment transitions in increasingly volatile and complex labor markets.
He works since 2001 in the context of talent mobility and the in the world of work matters.
